N.C. Correctional Institution for Women | NC DPS

The North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh is the state's primary correctional facility for women. It houses the largest offender population in the state and serves as the support facility for the state's other female prisons. The campus-style facility sits on 30 acres of a 190-acre tract of state land in southeast Raleigh.

Department of Public Safety | Women’s Community Correctional Center

WCCC is the only women’s prison in Hawaii. It also serves the needs of pre-trial and sentenced female offenders. The facility houses female offenders who are of maximum, medium and minimum custody levels. WCCC offers a 50-bed gender responsive, substance abuse therapeutic community called Ke Alaula.

Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF)

Michael Pallares has been acting Warden at Central California Women’s Facility since September 2019. He served as the Chief Deputy Warden at Central California Women’s Facility from 2018 to 2019. Prior to serving as Chief Deputy Warden at CCWF, he served as a Correctional Administrator as the Associate Warden over Housing from 2016 to 2018.
